Since the President and Congress refuse to confront the crisis of illegal immigration, I will work at the state level to prevent illegal workers from coming to Iowa.
As your state representative, I will support tough fines for employers who are guilty of knowingly hiring illegal immigrants. I will insist on jail terms for CEOs who repeatedly break the law. I support a law that requires all Iowa employers to use the new national E-Verify database to ensure that every single one of their employees is in this country legally.
I will fight to make sure that every job in this state is preserved for an Iowan, and that anyone creating a friendly environment for illegal immigrants is severely punished.
